This fibre optic heat shrink tube is used to build up two 900μm fibres to 3mm jacketed fibre to strengthen and protect the fibre. FS provides two-metre-long heat shrink tube, so you can cut it to the desired length. Center the tubing over the splice, and evenly heat the tubing until it has fully recovered and conforms to the cable.
