The armored fibre patch cable with built-in metal armor can resist mechanical damage from crushing, abrasion, cutting, and pulling in the most hazardous areas. It can protect fibres and prevent network outages. Armor construction eliminates the need for conduit to provide a smaller crush resistant pathway for improved design flexibility and lower installed cost.
