The MMC fibre cable is equipped with an MMC connector, a Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) multi-fibre optical connector designed to terminate single-mode and multimode fibre cables up to 2.5mm in diametre. It employs novel TMT ferrule technology harmonised with the MT/MT-16 alignment structure. Individual connector access in the most extremely dense connector environments is easily accomplished using revolutionary DirectConec™ push-pull boot technology. MMC connectivity enables solutions that minimise the space required across multiple applications, including structured cabling, high fibre count data centre interconnects, and high-bandwidth applications.
