Cisco DWDM-SFP10G-63.86 compatible SFP+ transceiver supports up to 40km link lengths over single-mode fibre (SMF) via an LC duplex connector. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, to allow access to real-time operating parametres. The transceiver employs a DWDM EML transmitter and an APD receiver, delivering reliable performance while complying with SFF-8431 and SFF-8472 MSA standards for seamless network integration.
With these features, this easy-to-install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be deployed in the DWDM networking equipment in metropolitan access and core networks.
