FHD® MTP®-8 to 4 x LC Duplex Fiber Optic Cassette, OS2 9/125μm, Universal, 8 Fibers, Plug-N-Play

FHD® (FS High Density) series MTP® fibre cassettes are pre-terminated, pre-tested, and come with one rear 8-fibre MTP® port connection and 4 duplex LC ports in front. The MTP®-8 cassette is ideal for deployments including 40G to 10G, 100G to 25G and 400G to 100G. Universal polarity to be used at both ends of a Method B trunk reduces the complexity of a fibre network, ensuring consistent polarity, and streamlining network maintenance. This Base-8 MTP® fibre cassette is designed to upgrade existing LC links to SR4 parallel optics without wasting any of the fibres inside the cable.

Features

Premium Brand Components for Stable Transmission

Provide Connection and Deployment Quickly

FHD® fibre cassettes feature an innovative structure and modular design, enabling quick deployment in high-density applications while optimising rack space and ensuring design flexibility.

Realization of the Spine-leaf Connection with Port Breakout

  • Use MTP®/MPO cassettes freely to create a cross connect by breaking out all QSFP28 ports at the spine. This eliminates latency times of east-west traffic, and maintains redundancy.

Versatile Solutions for Different Network Requirements

Manage and Maintain Fiber Optic Links via Adapter Colors

  • LC and SC adapter housing colours follow TIA/EIA-568.3-D standards, making it easy to identify individual fibres and connectors.
